Manistee 2 Regatta

July 29th - 30th

Douglas Park
Manistee, MI

Check and see who has pre-registered HERE.

LOCATION
A CRAM favorite, this scenic little vacation town is here to stay. Not only here to stay in 2023, but ANOTHER ROUND! Located on the shores of Lake Michigan with a launch protected by a breakwall. From US 31, head west on 1st Street. Take the first right in the round-about near the lakeshore, and pass the boat launch. The CRAM designated area is the large field on the right, past the pavilions.

Manistee Location

VENUE
On the south side of the mouth of the Manistee River lies Douglas Park and a perfect beach to host a regatta within a breakwater. Racing will be held on Lake Michigan, either south or north of the channel.

ACCOMMODATIONS
Camping
Both RV and Tent campers are welcome to join us on the 1.5-acre section of Douglas Park right next to our launch site. No hookups are available, but public restrooms are nearby and showers are available to CRAM campers at the city marina located 5 minutes away in the downtown part of Manistee. Whether camping with us or not, come join us for a group campfire in the evening.

RV parking - The city of Manistee has graciously allowed us to park in the lot across from the open space. We will need to be courteous and respectful of the lot's intended use, so perhaps we park every other spot in the red areas shown above to try to keep the footprint small but also try to be in close proximity to the open area.

If you’re not looking for the rustic sailing & camping experience there are other campgrounds in the area including Orchard Beach State Park located 10 minutes away.

Hotels
Manistee has many hotels, motels, and bed & breakfasts to choose from in the area.

HOSPITALITY
For this regatta, you are on your own both Friday and Saturday nights. Manistee is a wonderful little town and we are making an effort to patronize their local eateries! There are many wonderful restaurants in and around Manistee.
