VENUE DETAILS
The below diagram should be fairly self-explanatory.  Click it for a zoomed in view.

Parking, Boat Storage

Race Venue Parking:
The Michigan City Park Board has graciously supported us by allowing car and boat trailer parking at the Washington Park Lot immediately west and north of the Sunset Grille Pavilion. Please see the venue site map above for location details.

For those that register on or before June 4th:  Parking passes for the regatta weekend will be issued free of charge. You will be added to the CRAM Parking List with an assigned weekend parking pass for car, RV, and boat trailer that allows for use of the beach boat ramp. When you arrive, please show a valid ID to the parking attendant at the Park Entry Booth and you will receive your weekend parking pass. CRAM parking support personnel will direct you to the boat unloading and setup area as well as the parking locations. Please follow their instructions.

For those that register after June 4th, 2019, you will be required to pay the daily Michigan City parking fee upon entry into Washington Park and also be subject to an additional trailer storage and boat ramp launch fees.

Boat Storage:
Boats will be parked on the Washington Park Public Beach during the regatta weekend. Upon arrival at the regatta venue, please proceed to the northwest corner of the lot to set up (see venue site map above). Once set up, please transport them over the beach boat ramp to the beach storage area. Please follow support personnel instructions. You are strongly encouraged to bring and use sand augers to secure your boats on the beach.  This is a real issue - in the recent past we have had serious damage in storms from unsecured boats.

Boats will launch from the beach for racing on Lake Michigan. After daily racing is completed, return to the same location for overnight storage.
